As my fiancée and I settle into our new home base in Las Vegas, I want to share a more personal update this week, reflecting on the reasons behind our move and what it means for me going forward.
My passion for combat sports is no secret. It's the core of who I am and what Fight Capital Global is all about.
Las Vegas is known as the world's fight capital, a title it holds not just through its electric nightlife but through a deep-seated history of hosting combat sports events.
As the home to the Ultimate Fighting Championship, with a record of hosting over 192 UFC events—more than any other city globally—and a century-long tradition of iconic boxing matches, moving here places us right at the heart of the action.
Deciding to move my family across the country to Las Vegas came with no guarantees, but it was a step taken with a vision of greater engagement and growth. It's a leap of faith into a city that not only pulses with top-tier combat sports events but also thrives on a vibrant cultural and economic life.
This transition would not have been possible without the incredible support of my beautiful fiancée, Laura Corson. Her encouragement and belief in the vision of Fight Capital as a leading voice in combat sports journalism have been unwavering.

The city's iconic venues, like the MGM Grand Garden Arena and the T-Mobile Arena, have been the battleground for unforgettable fights, including the lucrative McGregor vs. Nurmagomedov match at UFC 229, which alone generated $86.4 million in revenue.
These venues showcase the thrill of the fight and contribute significantly to the local economy, drawing in crowds and providing a world-class experience.
